Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led HIV initiatives prioritise cultural sensitivity and community involvement as we work alongside our members and communities to close the gap in HIV for Indigenous peoples.

HIV Online Learning Australia (HOLA)

HOLA is a joint workforce development program by Health Equity Matters and NAPWHA increasing the knowledge and skills of Australia’s HIV community workforce.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities

Culturally and linguistically diverse HIV initiatives prioritise cultural sensitivity and community involvement, fostering collaboration with our members to address issues that affect multicultural communities.

Consensus

The National Consensus Statement on the Future of Australia’s HIV Response, in which the priorities and activities required to achieve and move beyond virtual elimination of HIV transmission are defined.

Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Southeast Asia Program (SKPA-2)

The aim of SKPA-2 is to improve the sustainability of evidence-informed prioritized HIV services for key populations in Bhutan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.

Our international impact

Since the early 1990s, Health Equity Matters’ International Program has worked to support stronger civil society responses to HIV, health and human rights in Asia and the Pacific.

More recently, our international team leads multi-country programs in Asia and the Pacific to ensure responses to HIV are sustainable.
